Island Recreation Association has canceled Jeep Island on Saturday, Oct. 10, 2026, at Lowcountry Celebration Park, citing a forecast of thunderstorms and high winds.
The organization said the event will instead take place Friday, Oct. 9, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Lincoln & South Brewing Company. There is no spectator admission fee, according to the listing.
The page says Friday plans still include Show and Shine, Pluck a Duck, a 50/50 raffle, Jeep Island T-shirt sales, a jeep raffle drawing, and food and drink for purchase. Jeep Island is described as a fundraiser for a scholarship fund. People who already registered a jeep are told to check their email.
